We decided to specially design a series of audio players specifically for the young music lovers.
The players have a stylish appearance, excellent sound quality at a very affordable price. Recognising that generally, the younger listener prefers to listen to electronic, synthetic music, we new that there were no DAP's specially designed for this kind of sound signature.
ROCOO fills a big gap in the market.
We want to correct the existing flawed interpretation of the sound of ROCK music and other modern music genres.
Rocoo sound signature has a punchy bass, with rich mid tones and very detailed extending highs giving the listener an extremely full listening experience.
The bass of the ROCOO-A exactly reproduces the recording and so does not need to try and enhance it, as the light weight mp3 players do. We don't amplify any specific frequencies.
What the ROCOO is able to do, is to replicate, note for note, that live modern music sound, as if you were actually right there at the recording session.
The bass of ROCOO is a natural extension and benefits from the rich power reserve. The bass of ROCOO is effortlessly replayed.
This means that the bass of the ROCOO is very transparent and clean. It is very comfortable to listen to. You can hear the detailed bass with the ROCOO, no matter if you play it at loud or quite.That is not to say that the ROCOO is focused only on the bass spectrum. In fact, we have never separately design any of the segment frequencies. Music playing and replaying is harmony and balance. The instrument layers shown by ROCOO are very clear and accurate. Some times, the bass-head will feel the ROCOO has a light bass, this is because they don't use to the natural bass sound. The Rocoo just redefines the bass accurately.
Because of our unique circuitry and design we do not need to provide the bass sound effects (EQ, BBE or so) to gain the artificial bass, we duplicate the original natural sound perfectly.
We believe that the Rocoo-A is a genuine contribution to the MP3 player industry.
The Rocoo has been designed to look good and to appeal to the young and sports minded, and is ideal for those on the go.

Clearly, there are a lot of music lovers who prefer rock and other modern music, but until now there are no DAP's designed specifically with the needed modern music signature. What the manufacturers do is create one player for all the different types of music, a Jack of all trades !
The truth is, no matter what you have been led to believe, no player can be good at all genres.
We have designed he Rocoo to fill this gap in the market, to give you what you deserve.
ROCOO has an interesting name, it merges the thoughts of ROCK+COOL. The name reminds the user that the Rocoo's sound signature is a perfect fit with modern music, giving the listener a much better audio experience.
Modern music, especially electronic music, contains lot of ultra bass. Many DAP's replay the bass, enhancing the spectrum, the result is that the player BECOMES the bass player. The result is that the bass is overwhelmed and overshadows the other frequencies so that they get lost in the background. This is not what we want or what you want.
Our goal is to create a balanced sound quality, with punch and slam bass.
We use a systematic design concept to deal with the bass problem. To do this we completely utilize the properties of DAC and Class A amp. Our specially designed circuit extends the deep bass while supplying more power to ensure bass punch, which is timely, with detail and controlled.The slam and clear bass with full of tamber make the bass very real and engaging. The bass of ROCOO appears dense, adding weight, speed and elasticity. This kind of bass is very intimate and even after long hours of audio pleasure, does not tire the listener.
In order to extract the full potential of Rocoo's sound quality, we also specially design a pair of IEM's of PAA-1s ear-buds Therefore, the whole system of DAC, amp, earphone is designed by us as one solution, they complement each other perfectly.

Although we have stressed the excellence of the bass, in no way should you consider the Rocoo a Base Player.In fact, the other frequencies are also extraordinary, the rich mid tones and shining highs, combining with the excellent bass, make the ROCOO the perfect hi-fi quality audio player.

Most of the features of the ROCOO-B are inherited from the characters of the ROCOO-A.
The main difference between the ROCOO-A and ROCOO-B is the amplifier. The ROCOO-A employs a Class A amp, while ROCOO –B employs the Class AB amp.
The other features of ROCOO-B are that ROCOO-B has double the battery life of the ROCOO-A and ROCOO-B is specially designed for highly sensitive earphones.
There are some high end earphones which are especially customized for direct pairing with the DAPs. But many audiophiles eventually find that in general, DAPs tend to have a very average sound quality, hence they cannot satisfy the requirement of the audiophiles.
The ROCOO-B adopts a certain circuit design protocol to enable it to modify sound signals from the up-stream and output a pure and balanced sound quality for the earphones, thus it can supply a high quality signature for the earphones.

ROCOO-C is an interesting DAP combined with the classical appearance and modern features. Compared with other two ROCOO models, The sound signature of ROCOO –C is lean to classical music acoustic and vocals.
The ROCOO-Classical has a built in Class A amp, which can have stronger power reserve for feeding complex and peak music passage.The operation of Rocal-C is very simple and convenience.

Except the modern genre music lovers among the young peoples, there is other group who like the genres of classical, vocal, acoustic. So we need to add low cost DAPs for the special customers.
The touch keypad is the unique feature of the player. This design makes the player more beautiful.
Simplify conception also employ in the designing. Music performance is the priority. So, we cancel the screen to make more cost in the audio segment. Therefore we save every penny to avoid spending on rarely used functions, such as ebook, videos or similar.

Can a DAP directly boost perfectly with most earphones including full size phones and IEM's?
We are challenging this conventional DAP limitation. We believe there is a better solution, a better way than the traditional DAP + AMP + Earphone.
We want to re-define the full size phones from the "stationary phones" to new portable phones.
With our proprietary solid-state Class A amp technology, the HiSound Audio Studio has the added feature of stronger power and precise spectrum control to feed power hungry earphones.
By using the STUDIO, the usage time of your phones will tremendously increase, ideal for travel and out door usage without hooking up to any amps or cables.
As the name implies, the Studio will loyally present the genuine recordings and let you hear the music just like you are the recording engineer in the recording studio. We don't use any artificial sound colour, there is no bass enhancement or sound echo effect with the STUDIO. This means that the extension of the bass and the highs sound natural, just as the band played them.
We focus on balanced frequency design, and try to avoid some frequencies overshadowing other frequencies. To attain a natural sound is the ultimate goal of the Studio.
The value of the STUDIO is not only in replacing the desk top earphone amp, freeing you from having to use full size phones, but amazingly the Studio can also work with your high end sound sources in your home, such as your CD player, DAC and pre-amps.
Studio can be the high end audio centre of all your music appreciation.
The earphone amp function is a big bonus for the users. The are many external low-fi audio systems you listen to in your daily life, such as your PC, game player, radio and TV Using the earphone amp of your STUDIO you can improve the sound quality to hi-fi grade.
Studio employs the most advanced design and technology. You can expand the on-board memory using the built in Micro SD(HC)card slot. There is also a built in radio which can provide the most engaging sound.
Much thought has been given to the build quality too, the case is CNC carved, using block fine aluminium alloy, this makes it very tough and practically scratch resistant, ideal for the outdoor user.

We gave ourselves a challenge to see how 'high-end' an MP3 player can sound ?
It seems the whole DAP industry have despaired with the low sound quality of mp3 player. Many companies have attempted to improve the sound quality of the MP3 player without success.
They have tried the latest DAC's and lossless formats with a measure of success. Eventually, some mp3 players had a very high resolution, but this has not produced, what we call 'sweet music'.
We decided the Studio should present music with the ambiance of tamber, with rhythm, contrast, dynamic, intimate and be engaging. This is the requirement of a high end audio device.
After the prototype finished 7 months ago, we have been spending more than 200 days fine tuning the audio reproduction.To give you one example, just to capture the subtle, accurate speed of the violin, we have adjusted the circuitry ( redesign the PCB board) 5 times. Now, we can say with confidence that the sound of the violin on the STUDIO, sounds not like the violin played by a student musician, but of that played by the virtuoso, Menuhin. You can just imagine seeing the expressions on his face as he is playing.
Our other challenge was to perfectly match the correct IEM's or full size phones. The main problem is that most IEM's have been designed for low power general DAP's, with low impedance and high sensitivity, while most full size phones are high impedance and low sensitivity.
We needed to achieve the best balance for pairing these wide range phones to the Studio. The biggest frequency problems of the wide range earphone pairing is the issue of HISS or White Noise.
We have not found one DAP that can deal perfectly with this issue. The Studio is a small DAP and this doesn't allow us to apply the complex circuit design to address the problem of hiss.
Finally, Our long time experiences has help us deal with this issue.
Most good sound DAP has short battery life. We knew that in a high-end audio device, if the battery is dead, it means that the player is disabled. We had set ourselves a target, the playing time of our battery was to be 80-100 hours, this would be a world's first.
To ensure the sound quality, we had to employ the class A amp, which consumes about 3 times the power than the standard integrated class D amp. We overcame this with our proprietary EMA technology. (Energy Management Assignment technology).
Size restrictions were another big challenge. How to squeeze in a big battery, a class A amp circuit, a DAP circuit, a radio, more circuitry, expanding card slot and how to avoid the interference?
This is also the most difficult task for us to deal with. To be frank, from creating the original concept of the STUDIO to having the finished player, has taken us nearly 40 months of hard work.
What is classical player?
We define it is the union of excellent sound quality and great design. As a unique DAP, STUDIO employing the CNC carving block aircraft grade fine aluminium alloy and complex tooling methods have ensured the simple attractive looks.
The total metal enclosure can, not only guarantee surviving the harshest usage but can also help to shield the player from external interference, such as from cellphones.

As the name implies, Studio-I is specially designed for the high sensitivity, low impendent earphones.
Studio-I has a more high end circuit design. It has more highs and bass extension. The bass is much more comfortable and 'real'. The sound definition is much clearer, with the highs, mids and bass sounding just like you are present in the recording studio.
Of course, the battery life of the STUDIO-I is longer than that of the STUDIO.
Studio-I is the best choice for hi end and highly sensitive IEMs. It can extract the full potential of high end earphones.

In ear phones (IEMs) are not easy to design because of the tiny space of the enclosure. So, what generally happens in the marketplace is that, the good IEMs come with a very expensive price, and the general in-ear phones are low-fi with low price.
The challenge then became: Could we at HISOUNDAUDIO design decent IEMs with a moderate price tag? It was our belief that with our great experience in designing audio products, we could.We firstly had to consider the small size, obviously, as the priority. So, we selected 6.5mm drivers. They are some of the smallest IEMs, which would comfortably fit inside the channels of the ears. And, after much designing and redesigning to perfection, over many long hours of auditioning, we are now able to say, that we are very satisfied with the sound quality of the PAA-1s.
For those who love their bass funky and tight, its there, very tight. The highs and mids are as detailed and pristine as can be, and as a result, the separation and transparency is AWESOME. In a word, the PAA-1s have all the hallmarks and characteristics of a hi-fi IEM.The PAA-1s are specially designed for pairing with our players. The cable of the PAA-1 is "hand picked" after much consideration of its physical as well as its audio carrying capabilities; it is very soft and has less "cable noise".
